Who is Read with Lark for?
Parents of children who are starting to read, reading below grade level, or on the spectrum, when you can tell something is hard and you cannot tell whether it is getting better.
Read with Lark is a reading practice for a parent and a child, together, about ten minutes a day. You get a number you can compare with your child's own last read.
What it is not
- Not a diagnosis. The numbers describe one read. They do not name a condition.
- Not a replacement for a reading specialist. The practice sits beside that work.
- Not a library. There is no shelf of books to browse.
- Not a game. A missed word does not lock the next read.
- Not a tutor. The parent stays in the room, and the app counts.
